Terms & Conditions

If you need to cancel your spot in a Masterclass, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice or unfortunately, it will be necessary to charge you for the appointment.

Services: The services provided by the coach to the client are face-to-face or virtual-coaching, as agreed jointly with the client.  Coaching may address specific personal projects, business successes, or general conditions in the client's life or profession.  Other coaching services include value clarification, brainstorming, identifying plans of action, and examining modes of operating in life, asking clarifying questions, and making empowering requests or suggestions for action.

Throughout the working relationship, the coach will engage in direct and personal conversations.  The client understands that successful coaching requires a co-active collaborative approach between client and coach.  In the coaching relationship, the coach plays the role of a facilitator of change, but it is the client's responsibility to enact or bring about the change.

If the client believes the coaching is not working as desired, the client will communicate and take action to return the power to the coaching relationship.   If you need to contact me outside of the scheduled meeting to discuss your task/homework, then please do so.  I am available for two short chats (ten minutes) designed to help you get focused, back on track achieving results (by either phone or email).

Problems:  If I ever say or do anything in a session that you don’t feel comfortable with, or if you have any concerns with the way we are working.  Please let me know as soon as possible.  For our work together to be effective, you have to be honest with me.

Payment Terms: In Advance by automatic payment or online banking.  If the account is in arrears the session will be postponed until payment has been settled.  If the session is virtual the coach will call the client based on pre-arranged session times pr masterclass times.  If you do not answer I will call again within five minutes, if you still do not answer I will consider you to be a no show.  The fee will be considered as payment in lieu of time lost for a no show to an agreed schedules session.  All fees are to be paid in advance.   All coaching sessions are one hour in length depending on the client’s needs.  Each Masterclass timing is outlines in the adverts but generally one to two days in length.   If the client chooses not to attend the second day, it is at their own cost.  Refunds will be considered on a case by case basis or a transfer to another Masterclass.

The fees outlines on this website are based on the session or Masterclass

The one on one coaching fee includes contact outside of the scheduled meeting of up to two emails and two short phone calls relating to the task/homework per month.  If you have an emergency that will take more than ten minutes to resolve, this will incur a fee or be considered to be one of your pre-arranged meetings.  If I am available I will take your call, or if unavailable I will arrange a more suitable time.  This will be discussed with you in full at the time.

Prior History: The client agrees to disclose details of the past or present psychological or psychiatric treatment.  Coaching and counselling are not the same.  If the client needs clarification on this, the client will request more information from the coach.  In entering into the coaching relationship, and signing the agreement, you are agreeing that if any mental health difficulties arise during the course of the coaching relationship, you will notify me immediately so that I can discuss with you an appropriate referral.

Privacy: The client can, at any point in the coaching session, declare his/her preference not to discuss a specific issue, by simply stating that they would rather not discuss this issue.  The coach agrees to respect this boundary and will not attempt to forward the conversation further along those lines unless the client expresses verbally that the client would like to discuss the issue.

Confidentiality: The coach will work within the professional ethics and guidelines as designated by the International Coaching Federation (see www.coachfederation.org).  Copies of the ethical guidelines are available on the ICF website.  All information about the coach / client relationship will remain strictly confidential except in very rare circumstances where decreed by law; ie where the court might issue a subpoena for the file or information.

If you wish for me as your coach to speak to someone outside our interactions, then you need to give me written permission (original letter or email) to do so.  Exceptions to confidentiality of course relate to circumstances such as intent to seriously harm someone, child abuse etc.   Otherwise, all your information is confidential.

It is also important to note that in some situations, it is important to be aware of the use of technology when discussing clients business.  There is a risk in using certain media such as the internet, mobile phones and cordless phones.  If you use these to communicate with me, then I will assume that it is appropriate to continue to do so in my interactions with you.

The coach recognizes that anything the client shares with them is regarded as confidential, whether it is business or personal information.  The coach undertakes not to, at any time, either directly or indirectly use or disclose any information the client shares with them during their sessions.

Termination and Refund: Because of the time, scope and nature of my work, company policy 48 hours cancellation will result in a a 50% refund.   After 48 hours, there is no refund as I am then committed to funding room hire, catering on your behalf, and other resources needed to ensure my masterclasses are successful.

If you do not follow through with the agreed outcomes, tasks or homework, then I can at any time terminate the relationship.  I will do my best to find you a referral if wanted.

The coach and client agree to provide each other with two weeks’ notice in the event that it is desired to terminate coaching.  Otherwise, the coaching will continue for the duration of the contracted period.

As coaching services are paid for in advance, refund for remaining sessions as identified at the time of agreed termination will be made accordingly without further enquiry.

I believe that each of my clients is a unique, creative and responsible person who is in charge of moving their own life forward.  I very much look forward to working with you.

Nature of Coaching:  The client is aware that the coaching is in no way to be construed as psychological counselling or any type of therapy.  Coaching results are not guaranteed.  The client enters into the coaching with the full understanding that they are responsible for creating their own results.
